Low-cost Video Conference Optimization

I can’t think of a single situation that can be improved without there being a cost.  This goes for video conferencing, of course.  If you want to improve your travel budget (i.e., reduce it, along with your environmental impact) by increasing your use of video conferencing, there will be a cost.  Ideally, the increased video conferencing costs will be more than offset by the reduced travel spending. You have to really understand packet loss if you are going to fix it.

Here at IPeak Networks, we bill ourselves as “The Internet Performance & Quality Company” which is a big, bold claim, but one with which we are completely comfortable.  We are completely comfortable and secure in the knowledge that when it comes to the Internet, packet loss does more single-handed damage than anything else (short of a shovel going through the fiber where they’re digging up the parking lot.)  So, when you take care of packet loss, as we do with IPQ, you do more single-handed good than anything else you might try to improve your Internet performance and quality.
